The bogus email being circulated to Donegal customers this morning.
Hundreds of eir customers across Donegal are being blitzed with a con email offering them bogus refunds.
The email looks legitimate and claims to come from eir’s customer support team.
It offers eir customers a refund and asks them to click onto a link to claim the refund.
However the conmen operating the bogus scam have scored an own goal as the linked page appears – in Chinese!
A spokesman for eir asked customers not to reply or engage with such emails.
