CLG An Clóchan Liath GAA News:

B’iad  6, 12, 16 & 21 a huimhireacha a lotto a tarraingíodh ag deireadh na seachtaine agus níor baineadh póta óir an lotto.  Beidh €2000 sa phóta óir don seachtain seo.
Bhain na daoine seo leanas  €20 an ceann: Hugh Gallagher – Dungloe, Siobhan Gallagher – Dungloe, Mary Gallagher – Sheskirone, Kathleen O’Donnell – Cloughely, R Melly – Leitir.

The ladies were away to Killybegs in Fintra on Sunday morning. They won on a fantastic result of Dungloe 1:16 Killybegs 0:2. Well done to Conor Comack & all the ladies!

The seniors & reserves were away to Naomh Conaill in Glenties. The reserves had a comprehensive win on a scoreline of 2-14 to 0-08. The two goals came in the second half from James & Shaun Boyle. Fantastic result for Robert Wehrley and the team running away with the game in the end. A great team effort. Well done boys!

The seniors lost out on a scoreline of 2-09 to 0-09. Naomh Conaill started the first half very strongly with a quick goal & built on that lead playing into the wind. Dungloe started to come back into it but found the gap too much to bridge after the second goal went in for Naomh Conaill. Good displays from captain Darren Curran, Conor Greene, Shaun Sharkey, Raymond & Adrian Sweeney who scored 7 of our scores. Plenty of positives to take from the game for next week’s challenge against Gweedore.

A big congratulations to our Donegal Minors Mark Curran & Ryan Connors on their win over Monaghan at the weekend, setting them up for a final V Tyrone this weekend.
Also to the Donegal U17s on reaching the Ulster Final with Shaun McGee representing the club. We wish all three the best of luck in their respective fixtures this weekend.

A fantastic event was held in Maghery to raise awareness & funds for The Irish Cancer Society this weekend. Dungloe played St Eunans in a 7 a side hurling match. Thanks to Paddy Flood of St Eunans for organising a gang of lads to come over to participate. Dungloe won 16 to 12. It was a fantastic event & from all at CLG An Clochán Liath we wish to congratulate clubman Davy McCarron & to all involved who made the weekend possible
