BUSINESS: The multiple award-winning Kelly’s Centra Mountain Top will celebrate the re-launch of their fabulous new look store this Friday, April 29th!

The store now boasts a much larger, modern chic city centre style store.

Manager, Mairtin Kelly explained to Donegal Daily, that they are only the FOURTH Centra store nationally to roll out this shop re-launch – and also have a whole host of new products now available.

The award-winning centra store offers their customers a vastly expanded range of goods at great value prices than other convenience stores and with a trolley checkout along with the THREE express tills this vastly improves and quickens the shopping experience.

So what’s new?

What is truly remarkable about this fantastic state of the art store is how different it is to the old store you can get a fabulous array of quality products in every aisle.

Starting with a vastly increased fruit and veg section, with daily delivered fresh produce, full to bursting with everything from the humble spud to exotic fruits, there is something to tempt every taste and pocket and now with a focus on healthy living the range of produce and products Instore is second to none eg new takeaway fruit pots, and healthy salad ranges, protein bars & snack bars, not to forget the biggest range of healthy juices & smoothies in Letterkenny you’ll be sure to stick to your eating program.

Mairtin said, “You’ve got to checkout the new Robin Reliant spuds display, this is something you will not see anywhere else in the country and a must for car enthusiasts and maybe just the curious, let’s just say Del Boy & Rodney would be proud of this new addition to the store!

“The smell of baked bread from the Scratch Bakery & freshly brewed coffee coming from their new state of the art coffee machine will hit your nostrils the moment you walk in the door – the cappuccinos are out of this world and you won’t get a nicer creamier coffee anywhere in Letterkenny!”

The new bakery section is irresistible and now with a new patisserie developed on site selling fresh cream cakes, cheesecakes and tasty treats and much more you’ll want to treat yourself every day of the week.

Moving onto the new Deli section, there is a fantastic range of new gourmet products available, hot carvery sandwiches daily, alongside the BBQ Chickens, or the freshly prepared in store pizzas ready to enjoy in less than three minutes, the choice and value on offer is truly staggering.

Mairtin continued, “Our Butcher will gladly offer you advice on the choicest cuts at our Meat Counter and give great tips on how to budget your meals for the week.

“Along with these traditional options the range of freshly prepared Stir frys, casseroles & ready to roast dinners you’ll never have any problems getting something tasty for Dinner.

“Sample the delights from the newly introduced “Made by our Butcher Range”, where again the entire product is made fresh instore daily.

“To top it all off, the store boasts a fantastic off license area, with great value wines to suit every dish!”

VALUE: Customers will enjoy hundreds of offers throughout the Store at Centra Mountain Top.

The store is beating its rivals in terms of excellent value & better quality products for sale.

Mairtin Kelly added, “Our store is now deemed a real alternative to the large Multiples and we can demonstrate the same value as these other big retailers.

“Having a family myself I know the importance of being able to Budget your shopping bill, its important you can get great offers every day and you don’t need to overspend like you sometimes can in the bigger stores.”

CUSTOMER SERVICE: Centra Mountain Top is known for its quality customer service.

Mairtin Kelly stated, “Our staff have been widely complimented for their attention to detail in this regard.

“We just completed a customer service training program called I-Care to keep the already high standards in place.

“Regardless of whether people are spending five cent, €5, or €500, they are leaving us their money and we are truly grateful for their custom.

“We are proud of our great staff here and the way in which they embrace good customer service – it continues to amaze me how well Customers are treated in the Store.”

CUSTOMERS: “Customers’ reaction to the store changes has been fabulous, it’s been really positive.

“We have included new trollies for people who would like to avoid the hustle and bustle of bigger supermarkets, new shopping baskets with wheels for easy use and this makes a huge difference for Elderly people as it has vastly improved their shopping experience.

“They love the fact that we consistently have market beating offers on a huge selection of product and that they can get all their shopping needs under one roof. The reconfigured car parking space to has been a huge benefit in getting customers in and out quickly.”

HOME DELIVERY: Another service that the store employs is free home delivery, covering a vast area from Kilmacreanan, Ballyare, to Lismonaghan.

Through this system, customers can shop easily at Centra Mountain Top and get delivered free of charge.

KELLY’S CENTRA’S HISTORY: Mairtin and his wife Angie has been in charge at Centra Mountain Top for FIVE years now.

Mairtin added, “We currently have a staff number of 65 here which makes us one of the biggest employers in the Letterkenny.

“People are very important to us because without them we don’t have a business, that’s why we work tirelessly in our community through supporting local employment, local charities, local clubs, and supporting local suppliers, it’s important for us to be part of our community and give back where possible.”

OUR PROMISE: “Angie and I and the staff want to thank our customers for their continued support, especially during the renovations.

“We promise that we will continue with our great offers on quality fresh food and strive for excellence in customer service.

“Our commitment to healthy living will unrivalled as we understand that having healthy options for every part of the day is key to supporting people’s lifestyles.

“All day on the 29th of April we will be celebrating with our annual customer appreciation day starting early – takeaway tea and coffee free, tastings all day, loads of giveaways and spot-prizes to be given out in the day.

Come and join us and see for yourself why our customers keep coming back and why we were voted Centra store of the year 2015.”
