DD LIFESTYLE: CHANCE TO WIN A SCHOLARSHIP AT LEADING DUBLIN BEAUTY COLLEGE

unnamed-2A leading Dublin beauty school is offering a young person the chance to win a scholarship to train in the beauty and wellness industry.

The Galligan College of Hair & Beauty launched the scholarship to highlight the career opportunities open to young people at home and abroad.

The scholarship will pay the private fees for The Galligan College of Hair & Beauty CIDESCO Beauty Diploma course which would usually cost €5,800 plus €1,270 (exam fees).

Based in Grafton Street, the College has an onsite commercial salon and an IPL suite so students can gain essential first-hand and practical experience.

Commenting on the Scholarship Launch, Careena Galligan said: “A qualification in beauty is a passport to a lifetime career and gives a wide choice of potential professional pathways.

“You can choose to work as a Beauty Specialist in a beauty salon, hotel or spa, with a cosmetics house or beauty brand distributor or become a beauty entrepreneur.

“We are committed to discovering and nurturing new talent and particularly helping aspiring school leavers with a passion for beauty. We are delighted to offer some lucky person a scholarship to enter into this exciting and rewarding profession.

The scholarship will pay the private fees for The Galligan College of Hair & BeautyCIDESCO Beauty Diploma course which would usually cost €5,800 plus €1,270 (exam fees).

The video should demonstrate your passion for beauty and why you would be a worthy recipitant of the The Galligan College of Hair & Beauty Scholarship.
The video should be up to 10 minutes or less.

Terms and Conditions:
Anyone over the age of 18 with an interest in working in the beauty industry can apply. Applicants must be available between August 29th and September 2nd to attend an interview at The The Galligan College of Hair & Beauty, Dublin if required.
