A 14 year-old boy reported missing by his family yesterday evening has been found safe and well.

The family of Oisin Power, 14, raised the alarm yesterday evening when he had not returned home.

Gardaí were contacted and an online appeal was launched on social media.

Thankfully, just before 10am, Oisin was found, much to the relief of his family.

Oisin’s mother Slyvia has thanked Donegal Daily readers for their incredible support and said it was a very long night.

“Oisin has been found safe and well thank god, it was a long, long night for us all.

“I want to thank you and all your readers for sharing the information regarding his disappearance.

“This was completely out of character for him, but thanks to be god he has been found.”
