ripDONEGAL DEATH NOTICES FOR TODAY, FRIDAY, APRIL 6TH

McNAMEE

The death has occurred of Rose MCNAMEE of Orchard House, Drumnahoe, Letterkenny.
Removal on Saturday at 12.45pm to The Church of The Irish Martyrs for Requiem Mass at 1.30pm. Burial afterwards in New Leck Cemetery. Family time please from 11pm to 10am and on the morning of the funeral. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if desired, to the Donegal Hospice.

McDEVITT

The death has occurred of Peadar Villy MCDEVITT of Stralinchey, Glenties.
Reposing at his sister Anne McGlinchey’s residence, 7A Beechwood Avenue, Letterkenny this evening from 6pm. Removal fon Saturday at 1.30pm for Requiem Mass at 3pm in the Church of The Holy Family, Edeninfagh, Glenties, travelling via Stracastle & Stralinchy. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

LAVERTY

The death has occurred of John LAVERTY of Drumboe, Stranorlar.
Peacefully at his home surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Marie and much loved father of Stephen, Anita, Maurice, Frank, Shaun, Raymond, Martina, Geraldine, Catriona and cherished brother of Paddy, Annie, Bernard, Maureen, Josephine, Dessie, Margaret and the late Katie, Willie, Dan, Harry,Joe,& Michael. Sadly missed by loving wife, sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, extended family and friends.
Remains reposing at his home from 10am on Friday, May 6th, to 11pm. Funeral leaving his home on Sunday, May 8th, at 10.15 am for Requiem Mass at 11am in the Church of Mary Immaculate, Stranorlar followed by interment in Drumboe Cemetery. Donations in lieu, if so desired, to the Friends of Letterkenny University Hospital or the Galway Cancer Bus, C/o any family member. Family time from 11pm until 10am and on the morning of the funeral.

ANDERSON

The death has occurred of Richard ANDERSON of Creenesmare, Creeslough. Removal from the Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Letterkenny on Friday, May 6th, at 2pm to his late residence. Funeral Mass in St Michael’s Church, Creeslough on Sunday, May 8th, at 2pm folowed by burial in Doe Cemetery. Family time please from 11pm to 10am and on the morning of the funeral.
