POLITICS: Independent councillor Micheál Choilm Mac Giolla Easbuig is calling on Deputy Joe Mc Hugh to give priority to a number of issues on the commencement of a new government.

The councillor has met with Minister Mc Hugh on a number of occasions to raise issues of importance to our community and county.

Some of the issues needing prioritized according to Mac Giolla Easbuig is the breakwater wall at Magherroarty pier, Deis status in all schools in Donegal, the ring road – and the light house road on Aranmore island – as well as a number of issues on Owey island that the minister himself has visited along with Thomas Pringle and the footbridge in Bunbeg.

Mac Giolla Easbuig told Donegal Daily, “I feel that these are urgent issues and should be worked on as soon as possible.

“These along with many other issues that were raised with the minister; the gynaecology and the antenatal clinics in Dungloe, unemployment, tourism and road infrastructure need addressed immediately.”
