DONEGAL SCHOOL BUILDS COOL STAR WARS MURAL WALL

unnamed-225Children in a Co Donegal school are hoping that members of the Star Wars crew might just call by and see their spectacular mural in honour the sci-fi spectacular.

The pupils at St Columb’s National School in Moville have gone Star Wars mad as the crew get ready to film scenes in nearby Malin Head.

The boys and girls have spent hours preparing pictures of Yoda, Darth Vadar, Princess Leia and other characters and built a massive tribute to their page age heroes.

Many of the children have visited the area at Ireland’s most northerly point which is being prepared to shoot the scene for the film this weekend.

The children’s teacher, Miss Katy Love, said the children are getting very excited in advance of the weekend and the hopes of perhaps seeing a famous character form the Holywood blockbuster.

“A lot of the children have been taking trips out to Malin Head with their families at the weekends and on the nice evenings this week to see if they can catch a glimpse of any of the action, or spot the Millennium Falcon,” said Miss Love.
