GOLFER Padraig Harrington has donated a club he used on tour last year – to help the Donegal Ladies Gaelic Footballers!
The annual fundraising golf classic is this Friday at the Ballybofey & Stranorlar Golf Club with €2,000 worth of other prizes on offer.
But it will be the signed Harrington club which will be the envy of golfers everywhere.
Donegal captain Michael Murphy, who is a keen golfer, is supporting the Ladies with his brilliant team – Rory Kavanagh, Neil Gallagher and Éamon McGee.
There are still some slots available for the fundraiser which helps the Donegal Ladies teams in their efforts this year. The senior ladies have won Lidl Division 2 and now get ready for the Ulster Championship whilst the U14s face Cavan in the Ulster A final this sunday.
