The Cannes Film Festival is well underway and while there are lots of amazing films on show we are most excited about the celebrity hair on the very glamorous red carpet.
Patrick asked our newest stylist Irene to give us some summer hair inspiration with her favourite looks from Cannes.
Irene says “as expected there have been some knock out gowns on show in the French Riviera some of my favourites were from Kendall Jenner, Blake Lively and Amal Clooney.
“For me the Cannes Film Festival is particularly good for providing inspiration for summer weddings – all summer brides should be paying attention with so much glamorous and elegant looks on show you will be spoilt for choice! Here are just a few of my favourite looks from the festival so far.”
Blake Lively
Blake Lively’s hair is the talking point of many red carpets and her week at Cannes didn’t disappoint, in fact it is difficult to pick one favourite look we loved everything- her trademark waves cascading down her back with effortless effect, her rumpled undone hair with a braid that pulled her face framing layers into a half up do look and her elegant bun with a thin gold Alice headband.
Kendall Jenner
Kendall Jenner sizzled and looked every inch the model with her wet look slicked back hair. This look was as sexy as it was practical and added even more drama to her daring gown. The reality starlet is no stranger to attention and made sure all eyes were on her in Cannes.
Jessica Chastain
We are a little bit obsessed with Jessica Chastain’s fiery red shade messy lob. Not even her Armani Prive figure hugging, low cut canary yellow dress could take our attention away from her beautiful hair.
Eva Longoria
Eva Longoria looked incredibly chic with her half up-do at Cannes. This look is certainly a firm favourite of Hollywood’s elite on this seasons red carpet appearances. Eva Longoria is always on point in the glamour stakes and this is no exception- we love the twisted front sections of her hair giving a braid like effect.
