DDTV: WATCH BRILLANT DRONE FOOTAGE OF WAAR 2016

WAAR – WILD ATLANTIC ADVENTURE RACE WAS HOSTED BY CLG NAOMH MUIRE LAST WEEKEND

With over 400 participants the well organised event ran seamlessly, in this the second year of the adventure race.

WAAR is a fundraiser for Naomh Muire GAA club but also brings an early boost to the local economy with the event attracting competitors from the four corners of Ireland and further afield.

The Overall Winner this year was Sean McFadden with a very impressive time of 2.17.54
Quickly followed by Martin Lynch and Neil McBride.

Clg Naomh Muire has declared WAAR again on the 13th of May 2017.

Total distance is 53K* including; 7.5k Run along the Wild Atlantic Costline, 42.5k broken Cycle along the Wild Atlantic Way,
2k Hike with views over the hills of Donegal and 1k kayak on Mullaghdearg Lake.

*Approx, may be slight variation to course on the day
