ROYAL VISIT: The Prince of Wales and his wife Camilla have received a glowing welcome from the people of Donegal on their whistle-stop tour of the county.

The future monarch and his wife visited Donegal Castle and the Magee Tweed Factory, and they also sampled award-winning sausages from McGettigan Butchers.

A huge crowd also assembled on the streets of Ballybofey to greet the Royal entourage as they made their way from Donegal Town to Letterkenny.

The Prince of Wales will attend a Civic Reception at LYIT, and will also visit Ballyraine National School, before heading to Glenveagh Castle.
