Veronica and her fabulous choir.

The Kilkenny Presentation School Choir led by a Donegal woman have been voted off Britain’s Got Talent.

They once again rocked the show tonight with an another amazing performance but it wasn’t enough to see them through to the final.

The group held electric candles as they sang Ave Maria and everyone had a special word for Veronica McCarron from Cashelard outside Ballyshannon.

Simon Cowell was again full of praise for the choir and their mistress, Veronica following the spine tingling performance.

He said: “I liked the first audition. I absolutely loved this performance.

“Ronnie you are honestly special. It was like you dropped down from heaven.”

Amanda also heaped praise on the group saying she felt “so proud”.

She said: “That was just the most heavenly performance ever.”

David claimed he thought the song was “absolutely perfect” for the choir, while Alesha Dixon described them as a class act.

Speaking after the judges’ comments Veronica said she was “absolutely thrilled.”

Despite all the praises it was enough to see the choir got through to the final as Craig Ball and Jasmine Elcock went through.

People were left stunned on Twitter following the result, with some hitting out at the choir getting voted off.
