Finn Harps need help over the next few weeks

FINN HARPS has pleaded with fans to come out and support them this Friday – as the club faces a month without revenue from gates.

The club has also organised a meeting this Thursday in an attempt to raise much-needed funds.

“The return to the premiership presents its own set of challenges both on and off the field
Unfortunately for the club once we play Sligo Rovers on this Friday June the 3rd we have no further home fixture until July the 8th against Galway United,” said a club spokesman this evening.

“This is a substantive period without revenue from gate receipts which poses a challenge to the club.”

The club us therefore asking all Harps supporters to assist in the following ways:

1 We are asking all soccer supporters to come along to the Finn Harps V Sligo Rovers this Friday night 3rd June
2 We are inviting all Finn Harps supporters to a meeting in the Villa Rose on Thursday the 2nd of June at 8.p.m. to discuss potential ways we can fund raise over that period.

Added the spokesman: We look forward to all Finn Harps fans assisting in the ways outlined above and so ensuring that the team have the best possible opportunity of remaining in the Premier Division.”
