CONCERNS RAISED OVER INCREASING LITTER AT MALIN HEAD AS TOURISM INCREASES

banba's crown litterCONCERNS have been raised over increased littering at Malin Head as more tourists flock to Ireland’s most northerly point.

Star Wars filming, dolphin pods and the Northern Lights have drawn thousands more tourists to Inishowen in recent months.

And with the superb weather of the past week, even more tourists have been flocking there.

However adventurer Bren Whelan says the area is in serious need of a clean-up.

And more needs to be done to prevent the discarding of rubbish at Banba’s Crown.
