FEATURES: Dooish N.S. renamed its ‘Special Class for Pupils with Autism’ to Abbey Class’ earlier this week.
Cian unveiled the new name with his parents Keary and Anne together with the class teacher Miss Campbell.
It was also the Annual Ice Cream Day in aid of Downs Syndrome Ireland and a huge total of €617 was raised.
Pupils, parents and friends were delighted to have glorious weather to celebrate the occasions.
Dooish N.S. has provided a Special Class for Pupils with Autism for the last fourteen years and is thankful to everyone associated with it over the years.
Long may it continue as the ‘Abbey Class’ to continue providing a good start for future success. Tús Maith Leath na hOibre.
