untitled (1642)

Three-time heavyweight champion of world Muhammad Ali has died at a hospital in Phoenix at the age of 74.

Described by many as the not only the greatest boxer in the history of the sport, but also as the greatest sportsman the world has ever seen!

Outside of the ring Ali was hugely influential for his political and religious stances, and was banned from boxing for three years after he refused to be drafted during the Vietnam War.

Ali also joined the controversial Lost-Found Nation of Islam and that’s when he changed his name from Cassius Clay to Muhammad Ali.

The US establishment viewed him with disdain, but he was revered and loved all over the world.

Unfortunately, he had Parkinson’s Disease for over thirty years, and had a lengthy battle with it, he developed the condition just five years after he finished fighting.

He touched the hearts of everyone who seen him in action, and for anyone who grew up learning about him.

A true legend in every sense of the word, and he really was the World’s Greatest.

There could be some row in heaven tonight with him and Smokin Joe Frazier.
