Whether he loves the outdoors, gadgets, the gym, a fine wine, fashion or music, here are a few ideas to steer you in the right direction or just to get you thinking for Sunday June 19th.
1. Learn/improve your kayaking skills. Whether you’re looking to do something new and exciting this summer, or you’re an experienced paddler looking to improve your technique and get fit, Blueway 10K is designed just for you. Find out more and sign up for the Blueway 10K with a club or provider near you at www.canoe.ie. Check with Gartan @ on 07491 37032 or kayak@gartan.com
2. Check out the taster surf or stand up paddle boarding sessions available around the county. If he prefers the gym, a month of classes might be his thing.
3.Maybe your dad likes his spirits, beer or wine. There’s a wide range of locally brewed craft beers throughout the county. I don’t think he would mind a homemade hamper of a choice of beers. A bottle of his favourite whiskey or wine will always be a winner too.
4. With the Euros underway soon, a new football shirt is an ideal gift for the super-fan. You can’t go wrong with sports gear- running shorts, gym top or gym bag.
5. A personalised mug, photo collage, t-shirt or homemade card from the kids is a firm favourite.
6. If your dad loves to spend his free time in the garden, a new shrub or a new tree will help celebrate the day and be a lovely reminder of the occasion.
