JOBS: Donegal has been given a big jobs boost following confirmation that a major national company is expanding their operations, and are setting up a new base in the county.

A long-term lease agreement has been successfully negotiated – and it now paves the way for the national company to start operations.

It is believed the national company specialize in selling branded products at discounted prices.

The new company will move into the former Builders Providers Store formerly occupied by the McMahon Group in Ballyraine.

In September, 2012, McMahons ceased operations, and the site has been lying idle for four years.

It is hoped the new company will move to their new premises in Ballyraine in the next few weeks, and it is expected the move will create a large volume of jobs in Donegal.
