WEATHER ALERT: For those sitting their state examinations look away now – tomorrow is set to be a scorcher, with forecasters predicting that tomorrow will be the hottest day of the year!

The country has been basking in glorious sunshine for the best part of a week, and that good weather is set to continue.

Traditionally, the weather is always warm for those sitting exams, and tomorrow will be no different – sorry guys.

Thousands will sit their state exams tomorrow, while others will plan to spend their day at the beach.

Met Eireann have predicted that temperatures will rise as high as 26 degrees tomorrow in Donegal.

The good weather will last until Friday, with forecasters saying the weather will become cooler from Friday onwards.
