A Donegal artist with a difference has been contacted to display his pictures in a prestigious New York art gallery.

The Agora Gallery contacted ‘Steamy Windows’ artist Jim Osbourne after seeing his website.

Jim makes art literally from steamy windows and has featured on Donegal Daily many times.

After chatting with Jim, the Agora Gallery contacted me offering me a contract saying that they wished to represent me in their gallery in Chelsea, Manhattan, New York, in a solo exhibition in 2017.

He will also feature in their catalogue and social media websites throughout the world.

Jim has just recently along with digital designer Kevin McFadden of McFadden Creative Media set up a new website that is dedicated solely to his Steamy Windows collection which can be viewed on www.steamywindowsart.com

Each print comes double mounted, titled and if you like, framed. Each Print is also signed by the artist and comes with a certificate of authenticity. The Artist retains copyright over all images.

Steamy Windows was a departure in medium, message, and manifesto.

Drawn on the condensation on his kitchen window with only his finger, it’s ephemera of light and water vapour depend on careful camera positioning and is captured digitally for limited edition print.

There is NO original, as the image evaporates after a few seconds, therefore each reproduction carries more weight.

Anyone wishing to find out more can contact Jim directly at jim@steamwindowsart.com.
