Finn Harps brushed off their mid season cobwebs to come away with a super 2-0 win against Longford Town this evening.

Goals from John Mailey in the 18th minute and Tony McNamee in the 78th minute secured all three points for Ollie Horgan’s team at City Calling Stadium.

It comes on the back of Harps excellent 3-0 win over Sligo Rovers and now puts the Ballybofey side in good stead to remain in the Premier League this season.

Harps are now eight in the table but have a big cushion between themselves and the bottom flight clubs.
