There will be a weekend of fun and laughter in Kincasslagh to raise much needed funds for Megan Ward’s trip to Haiti in April 2017.

Megan along with her father Adrian is raising funds for a charity called Haven who has been doing work out in Haiti before the devastating earthquake in 2010.

“We are helping to rebuild the damage created by the earthquake and working in local communities, we will be working on community based projects in orphanages”

“This will be my Dad’s 12th trip and I’ve seen the pictures, heard the stories and I now want to go and experience it for myself.I feel that we can all make a difference big or small but i feel that this is my chance to make mine.” – said Megan to Donegal Daily.

On Saturday the 9th of July in the Kincasslagh parish hall there will be a cooking demonstration and tasting by Operation Transformation star John Comny & executive chef of the Waterfront Hotel Bengi Comny. Call or text 086 8499 118 to book your place in what will be a fantastic night.

On Sunday there will be a 5k colour run which is sure to attract hundreds. Registration begins from 1pm, the race is due to start at 2pm. A great weekend for the family so be sure to make yourself free and support this fantastic charity event to help fund Megan’s trip to Haiti.
