WANT TO BECOME AN ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN – DONEGAL ETB HAVE TOP COURSES

ETB LogoDonegal ETB are now accepting applications for both Year 1 & 2 Accounting Technicians Courses which start in September.

Accounting Technicians are qualified accounting professionals that work in all levels of finance. They are involved in the day to day practical work of accountancy and play a key operational role in producing reliable financial information.

There is strong employer demand for accounting technicians both locally and nationally.

The accounts technician qualification is level 6 on the national framework of qualifications and the course is academically demanding.

A qualified accounts technician will also receive exemptions should he/she decide to undertake further professional accountancy exams.

You are invited to attend “walk in” information sessions on accounting technician courses which will be held on Monday the 4th July and Tuesday 5th July at 11:00 AM in Donegal ETB training centre in Ballyraine Letterkenny”.

Donegal ETB have been running accounting technician courses since 2011 and have had students come in the top ten student results nationally.

Interviews for year 1 accounting technician places will take place on the Wednesday 6th July.

The Year 1 subjects are Financial Accounting, Taxation, Management and Law and Ethics.

Year 2 subjects are Advanced Financial Accounting, Advanced Taxation, Management Accounting and Integrated Accounting Systems.

The Accounting Technician qualification is a bridging qualification and mature applicants may apply based on age and experience. Applicants under 21 must have leaving cert with a pass in English and maths or accounting.
