Naomh Padraig Uisce Chaoin Notes
The U8s have wound up for the year following a truncated outing to Carndonagh on Saturday morning when the weather called a halt to proceedings. Despite this all the boys and girls enjoyed their morning out and the club would like to thank all the mentors and parents who helped out with this group over the past year.
Hopefully most of them will enjoy the Cúl Camp this week. Keep an eye out for
messages from Brendan over the summer as we may get a couple of Friday evening sessions in, just to keep the momentum going.
The U14 boys season has also ended following a home defeat to Termon on Saturday morning. On balance though it was a good year for this squad who are Inishowen Champions 2016.
Now that the Leaving and Junior Certs are over the U16s and Minors campaigns begin. Please keep an eye on the club website for details of fixtures. All support is welcome and a full home stand is great lift for young players at this level. Mol an oige agus tiocfaidh se.
Congratulations to the Senior team who drew with Aodh Rua in Ture on Sunday afternoon. No details on date for a replay as we go to press.
Cúl Camp
The Naomh Padraig Cúl Camp will be held this year from July 4th to 8th. The summer camp is for all boys and girls from 6 -13. The camp is a fun way to learn the skills of Gaelic Football in a happy and not too competitive environment where the emphasis is on each child having a great time. The fees are €55 for a one child, €45 for a second child and then €40 for a third, etc etc. Each child will get a Cúl Camp kit including shorts, jersey and sports bag. Most team managers are now in contact with Parents via text alerts and closed Facebook groups for each underage team. If you are not getting these alerts and notices please make direct contact with the relevant coach or manager and they will be happy to add you. Reminder to any players who have not paid their membership/insurance money please contact the club registrar as soon as possible. Forms are available in the Club house or from coaches.
