A Mad Hatters Party was held at the Lake House Hotel, Narin.

The event, organised by Lettermacaward and Doochary Active Seniors was a huge success.

More than 140 guests from five other groups – The Dolmen Centre, Narin, Ardara, Glenties, Cloghan and Fintown – enjoyed a delicious high tea followed by a parade of some of the spectacular hats!

This was followed by some energetic dancing with live music from James the Baker, whilst the MC and judge, Bart Whelan, made his decision.

The jubilant winner of the men’s competition was Seamus McGeehan from Fintown and the ladies champion was Mary Angela Gillespie from Portnoo.

A wonderful afternoon was had by one and all as these pictures show.
