It’s the end of the road for the notorious hay-man driver in Donegal – as the RSA renewed appeals for drivers to comply with safety regulations.

The mystery driver gained notoriety in Donegal for his unusual method of transporting hay to his animals.

The Road Safety Authority has urged for drivers to comply with the rules and regulations when transporting bales on public roads.

Donegal roads are well used to the above car transporting unsecured loads and has sparked debate county wide weather the car in question should be allowed to continue transporting these bales on his vehicle.

However, the RSA has urged all drivers transporting bales with tractors or trailers that the load must be fully secured and not liable to fall onto the road.

Drivers that don’t comply with the regulations will run the risk of facing heavy penalties and fines.
