The 8th Annual Silver Tassie Hotel Charity Golf Event will take place on Friday 22nd of July at Letterkenny Golf Club.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Breast Cancer Unit at Letterkenny General Hospital, which provides first class care facilities to the people of the North West.
The services of the unit allow for early detection, diagnosis, treatment and follow-on care. Breast Clinic Consultant Breast Surgeon Michael Sugrue and his team do tremendous work to for those affected by the disease and it is no doubt a very worthy cause.
“The reason we chose to host this event is to give people a fun day out and we feel that the Brest Cancer Unit is a very deserving cause” says Ciaran Blaney, Proprietor of the Silver Tassie Hotel, who is organising the event in conjunction with Letterkenny Golf Club.
The local golf club which is one of the most scenic parkland courses in the North West will no doubt provide a wonderful setting for a challenging game of golf for both experienced and non experience players.
The Silver Tassie Golf event day promises to give both ladies and gents the opportunity to take time out for great game, the social aspect will be every bit as important with the opportunity to mingle and end the day with delicious food in The Silver Tassie Hotel followed by the prize giving.
