FANTASY FOOTBALL COMPETITION WINNER: James Gillespie from Killybegs has won the fantastic prize of a Kia Sportage for the year courtesy of Inishowen Motors.

Donegal Daily partnered up with Inishowen Motors and Michael Murphy Sports to bring you the Euro 2016 fantasy football competition.

Inishowen Motors have been fantastic supporters of the competition, and the prize of a brand new Kia Sportage for one year, really is an incredible prize.

Donegal Daily would like to express their sincere gratitude to both Inishowen Motors and Michael Murphy Sports and Leisure for their participation in this fantastic competition.

Donegal Daily Commercial Director, John Gildea said, “On behalf of Donegal Daily, we would like to thank everyone who participated in the competition, and a special mention must go to our partners, Michael Murphy Sports and Leisure and Seamus McLaughlin at Inishowen Motors.

“Without their involvement, the competition wouldn’t have been the success it was.

“We would also like to congratulate James on winning the competition, and we wish him a safe year of motoring in his stunning new Kia Sportage.”

The league which was a huge success – and even got coverage nationally, hundreds entered to pit their football knowledge against each other.

James, 30, won a €50 voucher for Michael Murphy Sports in Match day 3 but now he has won a brand new Kia Sportage jeep for one year.

“I am over the moon, I entered the league, I was just chancing my arm, I never thought I would have a new jeep at the end of the competition.”

Thankfully, I picked the right team, and made the right transfers and ended up winning this incredible prize.” – James told Donegal Daily.
