computerDonegal County Council will once again bring the MacGill Summer School to a wider audience by webcasting proceedings live from Glenties.

Events will be webcasted via www.donegalcoco.ie from Sunday 17th July until the close of the school on Friday 22nd July.

Each year the MacGill Summer School attracts politicians, political commentators, journalists and those interested in public life in Ireland today to Glenties for a week of lectures, debates and many interesting interludes.

The Council has been webcasting proceedings live from Glenties for a number of years now and the facility is proving more and more popular each year.

Brian Boyle, Head of Information Systems with Donegal County Council said the council are delighted to be in a position to webcast proceedings live from Glenties for the MacGill Summer School.

“The MacGill Summer School has become a very important annual event not only in Donegal but across the entire island of Ireland. For one week each year, Glenties becomes the focal point for political, economic and social debates, lectures and reflections and we are delighted to be in a position to share this to a wider audience through our webcasting facility,” he said.
