CLG An Clóchan Liath Club News:

B’iad  2, 4, 7 agus 20 a huimhireacha a lotto a tarraingíodh ag deireadh na seachtaine agus níor baineadh póta óir an lotto.  Beidh €3300 sa phóta óir don seachtain seo.
Bhain na daoine seo leanas €20 an ceann: Maimie Gillespie – Mullaghduff, Maggie Boyle – The Thatch, Eugene Mc Garvey – Kincasslagh, Cathal Mc Cole – Fairhill agus Grainne Sweeney – Meenacross.

From all at the club we would like to take this opportunity to congratulate our Ulster Minor Champions, Mark Curran who played fantastic on Sunday and Ryan Connors.

The seniors and reserves played away to Glenswilly on Friday afternoon. The seniors won on a scoreline of Dungloe 1-14 Glenswilly 2-09. – two vital points for us. Good team performance with some very good scores. The goal coming from Ryan Greene in the opening minutes of the game.
The reserves also came away winning in very wet conditions on a scoreline of  3-08 to 3-05. The goals coming from Mark Clerkin, a penalty from Daniel O’Donnell and a superb goal from Damien Hanlon. Well done to both teams!

The U21s also played away to Glenswilly in the preliminary round of the Championship last Tuesday. The men won on a score of Dungloe 2-11 Glenswilly 0-05. The goals coming either side of half time from Barry Curran and Luke Neely. They progress now on Wednesday evening to play Ardara at home in Rosses Park at 7:30pm.

The U12s played in the Regional County Final on Saturday in Rosses Park V Ballyshannon. – This team have been exceptional all year but just fell short after playing the whole game with a man down. Massive work has been achieved with this young group of players from coaches Paddy McGowan and Hugh White. The result was just unfortunate on the day.
