The school holidays are upon us, and with temperatures expected to reach the high twenties today, a lot of us will make our way to one of our fantastic beaches to enjoy the sunshine.

EPA Bathing Water would like to remind people to be careful when venturing near the water and be aware of the rip currents, as often they can catch people unawares.

#HotWeatherWarning Irish Water Safety advises to swim at Lifeguarded Beaches as Rip Currents more prevalent due to full moon today @IWSie

You can find a list of lifeguarded beaches in Donegal on www.iws.ie

Also make sure to drink plenty of water and keep the suncream well stocked up to get the most out of the fantastic weather!
