A stiff breeze over the weekend kept the scoring very modest both days.
The Saturday Confined was claimed by Marc Desmond [10] with 35pts, been awhile since that score claimed a weekend comp. In 2nd place was Gerry Redden [12] with 33pts. Eamon O Donnell did the fatherly thing and edged his son out of 3rd place on the break of a tie with 33pts. Shaun O Donnell [8] also had 33pts for 4th but graciously let the oul boy have 3rd. Brendan Devlin [1] claimed the gross with 28 gross pts.
The Sunday Competiton was won by the evergreen Jackie Mc Geoghan [21] with 39pts. He should be worth a couple of euro for Captain’s Day. In 2nd spot was Denis McElhinney [11] with 37pts. 3rd place was taken by Pat Harkin[16] also with 37pts. Tony Finn was 4th with 36 pts. Cecil Doherty kept his good form going by claiming the Gross with 30 gross pts.
