Can you help give little Timmy a lifeline?

Little Timmy came into the world at 6am this morning and is a beautiful little foal.

Sadly he has been born with a deformity and his hind legs are currently bent and twisted preventing him from standing or feeding normally.  He has quite a severe problem with tendons around the fetlock area.

His Mum, Twilight, came to the sanctuary a number of months ago having been rescued from a forest in South Donegal. Within months of her arrival it became evident that she was carrying a foal and the arrival of the ‘little one’ has been much anticipated

Joy turned to shock and sadness this morning when Timmy’s predicament became evident.  Clearly the mares recent trauma has impacted on her unborn foal. The vet is hopeful that he can gain strength in his little legs and go on to lead a normal life however the cost  of treatment will be a huge burden on sanctuary finances.

Could you help provide a lifeline for little Timmy?

Any help will be greatly appreciated, click here to help give little Timmy a lifeline. Please help him on his way to a happy future. little timmy
