A young Donegal woman who is the Perth Rose in this year’s Rose of Tralee has come up with a local version of the contest.

Local Frosses girl and former St Naul’s player Denise Quigley sparked the idea with Alison Mc Gready, Senior Ladies player and Underage Manager.

Alison and her team are pulling out all the stops to make this a night to remember for the parish of Inver.

The night kicks off at 8pm, with Leonie Gallagher from Leonie’s Beauty Boutique as MC, James Mc Groary (Mayor of Frosses), Mickey Kerrigan (Mayor of Mountcharles), Deirdre Mc Glone (Donegal Person of the Year) and Carole Murray Boyd (Owner of Pearls and Lace) judging and For Folk Sakes playing a great nights’ entertainment is guaranteed.

Best Escort will be announced on the night to the local boy who has been most “helpful” to his Rose in the run up to the event.

The pressure is on the escorts and the competition is heating up, check out the St Naul’s Ladies Facebook for some behind the scenes action on the Escort’s Bootcamp!

All the Roses are set to perform a party piece on the night showcasing their many talents. The winning Rose on the night will be crowned by none other than the Perth Rose Denise Quigley.
