Relief as Frankie makes it home

Yesterday, we wrote a report on Frankie, a white shih-tzu who went missing in the Ardsbeg, Derryconner area, near Gortahork.

After being missing for most of yesterday, his owner Emer launched an appeal for information.

A few hours after we published the article, Emer sent a message to our Facebook page with the good news that Frankie had been found safe and well.

A neighbour of Emer’s took Frankie in when he spotted him. Frankie did not have a collar on, so when word spread that a white shih-tzu went missing in the area, the neighbour contacted Emer immediately.

We are delighted that this little dog is back where he belongs.
