McMonagle wins it for Donegal ladies with last gasp point

Yvonne McMonagle was the hero for Donegal as she snatched a last gasp point to put Donegal through to the TG4 All-Ireland Ladies Senior Football quarter-finals.

Donegal were cruising with a few minutes remaining against Galway at Pearse Park, in Longford with a four point cushion.

However, super-sub Roisin Leonard came off the bench to rattle the back of the Donegal net and then slot over a point to level matters.

But McMonagle managed to keep a cool head to slot over the winning point and put Donegal, who were minus a number of their key players, through to the quarter final on a scoreline of 3-15 to 4-11.
