Glenswilly GAA notes

Tickets

Many thanks to all club members for their ticket orders for the All-Ireland quarter finals. Please keep an eye on the club facebook pages for details on when to collect your tickets.

Under 10s big day out

The U10s are travelling to Dublin for a blitz hosted by the Fingalians GAA Club on Saturday and will travel to Croke Park for the big game afterwards. Good luck in the tournament.

Seniors/Reserve

The seniors beat Cloughlaneely on Thursday 28th in Glenswilly in the Laurence McGinty Cup and will now face the other winners Glenfin in the final which takes place next Tuesday, August 9th in Glenswilly with a throw-in time of 7.30pm.

Manus wins the lotto

Not content with winning the Donegal International Rally, Manus Kelly decides he has to win the club lotto too.

Manus scooped €2,080 when his numbers 9,22,23 and 24 came up last week. We’re all delighted for you Manus – now buy a drink!

Next week’s lotto starts again with a jackpot of €1,000. Lottos can be bought in all local outlets and your support is appreciated.

Best of luck

The best of luck to Michael, Neil and the boys in the All-Ireland quarter-final against Dublin this Saturday. Do us proud lads.

U8s training

A quick reminder that the U8s have training this Thursday at 6.15 at the clubhouse field.

Summer Camp

The club’s annual summer camp takes place this week between Wednesday and Friday. A big thank you to all the parents and young adults who gave their time and energy to the young people in making it another great camp.

Bingo

Bingo is on  every Wednesday night starting at 9pm. More than €2,000 paid out each night with €500 paid out on the 9th game.

Scheme

If anyone is interested in taking a position on a TUS scheme at the club, male or female, can they please contact club chairman Peter McConnell.

Notes

If anybody has anything for the club notes can they please email them to stephenwmaguire@gmail.com before Monday night. Thank you.
