Management are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-oriented ‘Field Service Engineer’ to provide technical service to our clients in the Donegal/Derry area
Our new colleague will act as an ambassador for Tetra Pak and help to maintain the company’s reputation for commitment and service worldwide.
The key tasks and responsibilities:
. Install commission and automate new processing and packaging equipment.
. Execute hands-on preventative and corrective maintenance activities to maximise system performance.
. Perform troubleshooting and fault-finding services on site and by telephone.
. Conduct production supervision and operator training at customer site.
. Establish and maintain a continuous positive relationship with customers.
We are looking for an Engineer who has:
. Several years of field service experience, preferably in the dairy or food processing industry
. A proven technical background, preferably including experience in PLC systems/controls and servo drives.
. A working knowledge of Rockwell automation equipment would also be seen as an advantage
. A self-starter with the drive and initiative to act decisively in the best interests of Tetra Pak and our customers
. Strong service skills and the confidence to interact with customers
. Well developed problem-solving skills and the ability to apply structure and priority to duties
. The ability to model, promote and embed high standards of safe working practice
. A good command of both written and oral English
. Proficiency in the use of MS Office
. A valid driving licence and willingness to travel.
