Malin GAA hosting 5K this Wednesday

All County League Division 2 Fixture: Malin vs. Four Masters on Sunday 14th of August in Connolly Park at 3:00pm, reserves at 1.30pm. All support welcome.

 

Malin GAA 5K
The club will be holding a 5K walk or run in association with Inishowen AC on Wednesday the 10th of August at 7.30pm. Registration will be from 6.30pm in the Malin GAA club house with Adults €10, Children €5 with Families welcome.

There will be chip timing for all runners and their will be a new route, different from the recent Malin 5k. The event is being sponsored by Frank Scott of Nu World Heating Centre. If anyone is available to help on the night with stewarding etc. they can contact any committee member.

 

Pool Room
The club opened a new Pool Room upstairs in the clubhouse last Sunday. The room will be open on Saturday and Sunday evenings from 8pm to 11pm in the clubhouse for anyone looking to play a game of pool. Pool Competitions will be run in the Autumn, details to follow. Beverages & Snacks available. The Club would like to thank John McLaughlin(JM) who co-ordinated the Pool Room getting up and running. A special thank you to our Club President Patrick McLaughlin(R) who recovered and organised the Pool Tables. Thank You to Neil McGilloway, Kieran White, Noel McLaughlin(F), Denise McLaughlin(JM), Aidan Doherty, Maggie McLaughlin(R), Martin McColgan and anyone else who helped get it up and running.

 

Jiving Lessons
Jiving Lessons will re-commence in the Clubhouse on Monday 12th September from 9pm to 10pm for 6 weeks with Josie & Catriona. €5 per person. Everyone Welcome.

 

Underage
The minor girls have training every Monday at 8:00pm. All girls from aged 15 upwards and new members are welcome to attend. The U16 Girls who beat Carndonagh last Wednesday evening with a great team performance.The squad on the night Ciara McLaughlin(F), Ailbhe McLaughlin(H), Diane McGilloway, Siobhan Farren, Tara Kelly, Niamh Doherty, Seanain McLaughlin(F), Caiti Farren, Rachael Harkin, Alana McDaid, Kerri Stevens, Erin McLaughlin, Tara O’Connor and Laura McGeoghan.

 

Croke Park
The club would like to wish the Malin under 12’s the very best in their Croke Park Activity Day on Tuesday 16th August. The team will get to play on the Croke Park pitch.

 

Shop
The club shop is open every Saturday from 12.00 – 2.00 and Sunday from 11.20 – 2.00 or alternatively contact Susan Byrne on 9370638 or 0867832242 . The shop has a great range of stock in all sizes including coats, jackets, hoodies, tracksuits, socks, shorts, hats, new gear bags and much more club merchandise.

 

Congratulations
The club would like to congratulate one of our club volunteers Colleen Feeney & Mark on their recent engagement.
