Searches are expected to continue off the Donegal coast today for missing musician Stephen ‘Stevie’ Martin.

Stephen, who was better known as Rainy Boy Sleep, has been missing from his home for the past three weeks.

Originally from Lifford, the 29 year old had gained major popularity in local music circles and was tipped to eventually become a huge star in his own right.

His car was found by Gardai close to Fanad Pier sparking a huge search by the lifeboat services and the Rescue 188 helicopter around Mulroy Bay yesterday.

Fans of the singer have been posting messages on social media praying for his safe return.

The singer supported many major acts including Cyndi Lauper and played at venues across Donegal.

He is described as being 6’ tall, of slim build, with brown coloured shaven hair and facial stubble.

Police in Northern Ireland and the Gardai are appealing for Stephen, whose family live in Derry,
or anyone who knows of his whereabouts, to make contact.
