DD Poll: Cast your vote for Donegal’s Player of the Year

DD Poll: Donegal’s season ended in disappointment following a quarter-final stage defeat last weekend at the hands of reigning All-Ireland champions Dublin.

Rory Gallagher’s side delivered a gutsy display, but Dublin just had that little too much pace, power and quality for Donegal.

However, despite the defeat some Donegal players are in the reckoning for All-Star awards.

One player who looks nailed on for one, is Ryan McHugh, the Kilcar man enjoyed an incredible year – and is now regarded as one of the best players in the game.

Patrick McBrearty gave one of the best displays seen in Croke Park in recent years, when he landed eleven points against Cork.

We also included the solid Mark Anthony McGinley having impressed in his first season, the classy Odhran MacNiallias having scored 3-4 in this years championship, the evergreen Frank McGlynn, and Marty O’Reilly who played consistently well this summer.

We narrowed it down to six players, but have we included the right six?

Have you your say?!
