Councillor calls for Derrybeg AIB to be given to community

Councillor Micheal Cholm Mac Giolla Easbuig has called for the Derrybeg AIB building to be given over to the community.

They are hoping to transform the building into a youth centre.

A public meeting will take place next Saturday at 8pm in Ionad Naomh Pádraig, Dore.

Mac Giolla Easbuig argues that since the banks were bailed out by our government, the building should belong to the people of Donegal.

On Facebook, Mac Giolla Easbuig said; “If we want this building for our community’s benefit then we will need to fight for it!”
