Stevie Martin, known also as Rainy Boy Sleep, will be laid to rest this Friday morning in Derry.

Stevie had gained major popularity in local music circles and was tipped to eventually become a huge star in his own right.

The 29 year old musician went missing on July 25th, and extensive searches were carried out around Fanad lighthouse last Tuesday after gardai discovered his car in the surrounding area.

His body was recovered on Sunday in Sligo.

Stevie’s remains will be reposing from 6pm today at his mother, Marina Martin’s residence at 24 Hazelwood Drive in Lifford.

Funeral from there on Friday morning at 10am, for 11am funeral service in Derry Donegal Christian Fellowship, 9 Northland Road, Derry, with cremation afterwards in Lakelands Crematorium.

The family have asked for privacy during the cremation. No flowers please, donations in lieu, if desired, to Hope Outreach Charity and RNLI Donegal.

Rest in Peace.
