Is Summer Officially Over?

written by Elaine McCallig August 17, 2016

Our summer hasn’t been the best so far, but we did get a few good days. Yesterday saw highs of 25 degrees across the country, with Finner amongst the top three hottest spots!

Beaches were packed, parks were full to the brim, and there wasn’t a brolly in sight!

Until today, that is.

Unfortunately for us, it seems as though yesterday was the last day of the Irish summer.

Rain is forecast right through the week, except for next Wednesday which brings a glimmer of hope with cloudy, yet dry conditions.

We can cross our fingers that we might get an Indian summer!
