Slight traffic disruption as Donegal Marathon takes place today

The Donegal Marathon take place this morning in Letterkenny with hundreds of runners set to take to the streets.

The runners start at 9.20am with the first half Marathon runners due at
10.30/45am and the full Marathon runners due from 11.30am.

Road disruptions will be kept to a minimum but there may be traffic
delays and diversions from 9.00am on.

Although no road closures will be in place, there will be restricted access to the Oldtown bridge area during the race with motorists on the Rashedoge/Newmills to Oldtown area also asked to use the Conwal R250 road where possible for participants safety.
