FOOTBALL: The Seniors start their competitive season when travelling to Cockhill next Wednesday(Aug 31st) in the League Cup with the game starting at 6.30pm.

We wish Eamon and everyone involved the very best for the new term with preparations due to be wrapped up with a friendly game against Rathmullan Celtic on Thursday night( Aug 25th) at Leckview Park at 7pm.

It was a busy weekend with the advent of the new Schoolboys short season with most of our sides in action.

Our u12s Rovers defeated Gweedore Celtic 2-1 with the goals coming form Corey McCarron and Ben Cassidy while our u12s Crusaders defeated Keadue Celtic 9-0 with goalscorers there being Christopher Diver with a hattrick and strikes from Donal Gallagher, Lee Gibbons, Jack Harkin,Sam Harvey, Kian McGrath and Caolan Plumb.

Our u14s Rovers drew 2-2 with Kilmacrennan Celtic with a brace from Adam Yissau while the u14s United were defeated by Glencar 6-2 with Jervin Boleyn and Sean Pascual on the mark while our u14s Crusaders lost out 6-0 at Bonagee Utd.

Another busy weekend sees our u14s Rovers and Crusaders clash in a  big derby game at Leckview on Saturday at 1145am and that game is preceded by another derby clash in  the u12s between Rovers and Ballyraine at 1030am. Our 16s travel to play Swilly Rovers at 2pm while the u12s Crusaders have a 4pm Saturday date at Kilmac Academy.

The u14s United are at home to Keadue Celtic on Sunday at 1115am also at Leckview.

This weeks mini lotto numbers are 7-13-16 and 20.

4 people matched three numbers and receive 20euro each with the lucky winners Eileen Connolly, Michael McGahey, Donal Barr and Joe Marley.

Next weeks jackpot is 4025 euro.
