The Raphoe District of the Royal Black Preceptory will hold their last Saturday demonstration in Raphoe Co. Donegal this Saturday.

A parade will take place through Raphoe from the Royal and Prior School on the R236 around the town of Raphoe, through The Diamond and back to “The Field” at the rear of The Mart, Raphoe.

This will make traffic diversions necessary while the parade is ongoing.

The Parade will commence at 12 noon. The return leg of the parade is the reverse route meaning the parade will finish outside the Royal & Prior School, at 5pm to 5.15pm.

There will be a number of road closures and these will be closed from 11.30am to 1.15pm approx and 3.45pm to 5.15pm approx.

• Local traffic will be allowed on the Derry to Raphoe Road (R236) from Racecourse Road junction to the Garda Station from 10.30am until 5.30pm approximately.
• Derry to Raphoe Road (R236) from the Racecourse Road junction, William Street all of The Diamond.
• Local traffic only permitted through the Glenmaquin junction in the Raphoe direction.
• Diversions will be in place and will be signposted.
• Members of An Garda Síochána will be on duty at all junctions and will be in a position to advise motorists of alternate routes.

Motorists should avoid Raphoe particularly between the hours of 11.30am to 1.15pm and 3.45pm to 5.15pm.
