As the school year is starting again, the sun is beginning to shine.

A lot of dry, warm and sunny weather is expected over the coming days, with this weather being expected over the weekend and into the start of next week.

Students will be disappointed heading back to school with the warm front sweeping the country after a rather wet Summer.

Friday will be mostly dry with temperatures a comfortable 17 to 20 degrees, while the weekend promises warm and sunny weather across the country.

“There will be warm sunny spells in all areas,” Met Éireann has reported.

“Cloud will build up at times also and there will be a scattering of showers with some locally heavy, thundery downpours possible.

“Highest temperatures typically 17 to 20 degrees.

“And next week will see warm, sunny spells in all areas and overall a good deal of dry weather is likely. “
