Road now re-opened after emergency services cut passenger from vehicle after accident

Emergency services have been forced to cut a passenger from a vehicle after she became trapped following an accident this evening.

The accident occurred around 5.30pm, the car ended up overturned in a field after the exiting the road between Drumoghill and the Galdonnagh turn-off.

The road was closed for a period of time as emergency services continue to attend to the scene.

However, the road has now re-opened again.

Emergency service personnel from the Ambulance and Fire services along with Gardaí are still at the scene.

It is not yet known if anyone has been seriously injured in the accident.
